0:00This new court filing against David tells us he's absolutely cooked.
0:03I'm a forensic scientist and a former CSI.
0:06The evidence that is outlined in this is very,
0:09very compelling and very, very bad for David.
0:12Let me tell you what the most compelling pieces of evidence are.
0:15You probably know already
0:16that he is being charged with lewd and lascivious acts with a child.
0:19He is being charged with having i with Celeste
0:22when she was 13 and he was 18.
0:24The filing goes through not only the fact that she was 13 and he was 18,
0:28and they have proof of that,
0:29as I speculated that they probably did,
0:30in text messages talking about s*x
0:33talking about pregnancy, talking about her ending a pregnancy.
0:37She was not pregnant at the time of her death.
0:39There are also explicit photographs at CSAM,
0:41which is illegal to have, that documents and corroborates their relationship.
0:45There are text messages that outline the motive
0:48where Celeste is arguing with David
0:50because she thought that they were very serious,
0:52but he was having relationships,
0:54apparently, with other women.
0:55So she basically said, I'm gonna tell everybody about us,
0:57and I'm gonna destroy your life,
0:58and your music career is going to be over.
1:00So we sent an Uber to her house to get her,
1:02had her come to his house.
1:03She got dropped off by her Uber at 10:10,
1:05and 20 minutes later, he's sending her these text messages saying,
1:08where are you? Sada saying that she died somewhere between 10:10 and 10:30.
1:12And already by 10:30, he was texting her phone saying,
1:14where are you? In an effort to conceal the fact that she did,
1:17in fact, arrive at the house and he killed her.
1:19And then, if you can imagine,
1:20it gets even worse
1:21because he starts carrying out his plot to dismember and dispose of her.
1:24And they have proof of all of that.
1:26We've talked about the digital evidence a little bit
1:28that I thought there was probably record of sales and text messages.
1:31Well, this really lays it out.
1:32There's record of a sale of a shovel
1:34that was delivered to his house via Postmates.
1:36He ordered two chainsaws,
1:39a body bag, laundry bags,
1:41and a blue inflatable pool.
1:42Remember the blue plastic fragments?
1:44This is a key piece of evidence.
1:47When you go to Amazon and you search for inflatable pool,
1:49these are the top two results that come up.
1:51So I imagine it's one of these blue plastic inflatable pools.
1:54So David put Celeste's now deceased body in that inflatable pool
1:59about two weeks after her death,
2:00cut her up with those chainsaws,
2:03and in so doing,
2:04blue plastic fragments were transferred from the inflatable pool onto her body
2:09and into the cut edges of those limbs.
2:11We already know because of the video that I did about the death.
2:13Investigators report that they collected those blue plastic fragments,
2:16both on seen on top of her Body
2:18and from within the cuts. At autopsy,
2:20those fragments were analysed by an expert
2:22in the trace evidence section at the LAPD,
2:24where an expert was able to make a physical fit match
2:27from the blue fragments to the blue inflatable pool
2:30purchased by the defendant in May 2025.
2:32That's it. It's done.
2:33It's over. A physical fit match is basically
2:35the highest level of association that you can have with trace evidence.
2:39They're saying this broken piece that we collected from Celeste's body
2:43perfectly matches this area on the pool.
2:46Think of it like putting puzzle pieces back together.
2:49It is an identification.
2:50This piece on her body absolutely came from this cool that we found in his house.
2:55Remember me saying, like,
2:56it's pretty unlikely that the police would be able to match those fragments back
2:59to what I thought was a blue plastic tarp,
3:01because that blue plastic tarp probably didn't exist anymore
3:03because anybody with half a brain would have gotten rid of it.
3:06Well, he didn't get rid of it.
3:07So when police found Celeste's body in September
3:09and they went to his house and executed search words,
3:11they actually did, in fact,
3:13find the pool. So
3:14when police executed these search warrants at David's rental house
3:17back in September, they found the pool
3:18and it had multiple linear cuts.
3:21So they have the pool and they were able to take it back to their laboratory
3:25and identify it to those pieces that were found
3:27On Celeste's body. And they can track it to a purchase that David made.
3:30But don't worry, it gets even worse,
3:33because not only did they find the pool in David's garage,
3:36they found blood. Several biological samples which tested positive for blood
3:40were collected within the garage area.
3:42Remember I showed you pictures of investigators way back in September,
3:45and I was saying how it looked like they were doing luminol.
3:47So this tested positive for blood could either mean a positive luminal reaction
3:51or some sort of other positive presumptive test,
3:53like a colour change test that we frequently do on a crime scene.
3:56Not only are they blood, they have Celeste DNA in them.
3:59DNA evidence was developed from the blood stains
4:01collected from the defendant's garage,
4:02which match the victim's genetic profile.
4:04The thing about garage floors is that they are usually a semi porous concrete.
4:08And it is pretty damn near impossible to.
4:11To get liquid stains out of concrete because they absorb into the concrete.
4:15So unless you're willing to jackhammer that floor up
4:17and completely re pour a new concrete floor,
4:20if we go into your house with luminol,
4:21we're gonna fucking find it.
4:23And that's not even all of the evidence.
4:24Like, I didn't even go through everything that was in the brief.
4:26And investigators and prosecutors are not going to outline all of their evidence
4:30in a brief for a preliminary hearing.
4:32Because the basic requirement of a preliminary hearing is
4:35That you prove that there's enough to indict and to hold and to charge him,
4:38which there obviously is. There's more evidence that will be presented at trial,
4:43if it ever goes to this, to prove these charges beyond a reasonable doubt.
4:46Now, the question is,
4:47are we going to get to a trial?
4:49So now the next question is,
4:51is this going to go to trial?
4:53Let me know if you wanna know my thoughts on that.
4:54I'll make a separate video.
4:56Let me know if you have any more questions about the evidence.
4:57I'm happy to explain it. But basically, he's cooked.
