These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TokTranscript (the "Service"), operated at toktranscript.com. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

TokTranscript extracts transcripts from public TikTok videos and provides optional AI-powered analysis ("Viral Breakdown") and script rewriting ("Script Remix"). The Service is provided "as is" and we make no uptime or accuracy guarantees.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service (16 in the EU). By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for any activity under your account. Keep your sign-in method secure. Notify us immediately at shixinzhang2016@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable use

  • Only submit URLs to publicly available videos.
  • Do not use the Service to harass, defame, or infringe the rights of others.
  • Do not circumvent rate limits, scrape the Service, or resell transcripts as a competing service.
  • Do not use the Service to transcribe content you do not have the right to transcribe.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

5. Intellectual property

TikTok videos and their audio are the property of their respective uploaders and ByteDance. TokTranscript is not affiliated with TikTok or ByteDance. Transcripts generated by the Service are derived from publicly available audio; you are responsible for how you use them and for respecting copyright, fair use, and any applicable platform terms.

The Service itself, including its code, design, and branding, is owned by TokTranscript.

6. Subscriptions and payments

  • Free plan: 3 transcripts per month at no cost.
  • Pro and Max plans renew monthly until cancelled. Launch pricing is fixed for the duration of your active subscription.
  • Credit Pack: one-time purchase, never expires.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Taxes may apply based on your jurisdiction.
  • You can cancel anytime from your account. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not prorate refunds for partial months, but will issue refunds where required by law.

7. Content you submit

You grant TokTranscript a limited license to process URLs and transcripts you submit solely to deliver the Service. Free-tier transcripts may appear in our public "Plaza" feed. Pro and Max transcripts are private and not shown to other users.

8. Disclaimers

Transcripts are AI-generated and may contain errors. TokTranscript is not responsible for decisions you make based on a transcript. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TokTranscript's total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $20 if you are on the Free plan).

10. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for violations of these Terms. Sections 5, 8, 9, and 11 survive termination.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to TokTranscript's operating jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes must be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
