0:00So the whole US stock market
0:02including your 4 O 1 k your index funds
0:04and the value of your retirement
0:06is based on a story that might be coming to an end
0:09you mentioned earlier the dot com bubble
0:12are we doing dot com bubble 2.0 right now?
0:14Oh, this is much bigger
0:16the AI the AI build out relative to the TMT build out of 99
0:212000 is multiples even as a percent of the economy okay,
0:26so one of the big reasons
0:27why the stock market is being held up right now
0:30is because there's a story that
0:32American companies are gonna make trillions of dollars in profits
0:35forever because the world will be forced to use America's technology
0:40you have a lot of data that you look at.
0:42Do you think China is getting better at AI?
0:44How is the gap narrowing?
0:46There are two relevant tech centers on two and a half America, China,
0:49Israel those are the tech centers of the world
0:52they will win or we will win
0:54now some people say that that story is coming to an end
0:57because of all the lies, the spending and the competition
1:01now on June 12 something interesting happened
1:04a letter was sent to a company in San Francisco
1:07that letter was from Howard Lutnick
1:09the commerce secretary of the United States
1:11and by the end of the night
1:12the most advanced AI in the world was shut down
1:16anthropic which is the company behind Claude
1:18Was ordered to cut off two of its most powerful AI
1:23models from every foreign national in the world.
1:26Not just China by the way.
1:28That order included countries like France,
1:31Germany,
1:32Japan and even anthropics employees if they weren't American citizens,
1:37they were also locked out.
1:39Now four days after that letter,
1:41France fires Palentin. The French prime minister
1:44said that
1:45we can't depend on partners who are capable of turning off the tap.
1:49But Germany already walked away.
1:52Spain told its companies to stop signing deals.
1:54The same goes for Britain.
1:56And it's because the world found out that it has a choice
2:01and the choice is literally seven and a half times cheaper.
2:05Cause while America is spending $1 trillion a year building AI,
2:09which is 3% of the whole US economy,
2:12China is spending a fraction of that
2:15and giving it away virtually for free.
2:18So in this video, I want to explain how China is competing with the US
2:23and how this AI story might be coming to an end
2:26and some of the things that you can use to potentially
2:29see this bubble popping before anybody else.
2:32So with that said, let's get into it.
2:34Hi, my name is Henry Jick.
2:35Hope you're doing well.
2:36Come for the finance and stay for the AI bubble everyone saw coming.
2:39So let me just start with the basic question.
2:42Do people really want this AI technology?
2:45Because there's a theory that says the reason that this is
2:47Such a prevalent story in the market is
2:50so that these tech companies
2:52could justify their insanely high stock prices
2:55because in reality they've run out of really good ideas in fact,
3:00there's a really good interview on CNBC with Ed Zitron
3:02who brought up a lot of really great points
3:04but fundamentally large language models are not the future
3:07the only reason big tech is investing in this
3:09is that they run out of hypergrowth ideas
3:11they don't have a next iPhone
3:13they don't have a new Google search
3:14so they've put over $1 trillion
3:16with trillions more to come into a kind of a dead end industry
3:19because when they when that ends
3:21they'll have to admit that they don't have anything else
3:23now throughout the video
3:24I'm gonna show you more clips from that interview
3:27but there was also an interview with Alex Carp
3:30who is the CEO of palintier
3:32which if you don't know
3:33is the company that works closely with the government
3:36and pretty much every three letter agency in the world
3:39and Alex also brings up the fact that nobody really trusts AI
3:44right now who owns the data?
3:46Where is it cached? Are the prompts secure?
3:49Is this being transferred to you?
3:51Are you being comp? Okay,
3:52if it was so valuable let's say I can make you a billion dollars right
3:56tomorrow
3:56wouldn't I say I'll make you a billion dollars and I want 30%
4:00why are they charging for tokens if it's So valuable.
4:03He is saying
4:04if the promise of AI is as good as they are marketing it to be
4:09in its current form, they would not be charging us for tokens.
4:13they'd be charging us for building a billion dollar business idea
4:17where they would take 30% of the revenue.
4:20Cause think about how you pay for anything in business.
4:23You pay a lawyer to win a court case,
4:25you pay a contractor to remodel your house.
4:27The price you pay is attached to a specific result.
4:32Now AI companies do not work that way.
4:35They charge us per what's called token usage.
4:39Now a token is basically a word.
4:42Every word the AI reads and every word it writes for you,
4:46we pay for that whether the answer was good or was really bad.
4:50And Alex Karp is basically saying
4:52why would they price their business that way?
4:55Why wouldn't open AI ChatGPT just say only pay me when it works?
5:00If we create a good idea for you,
5:02give us a cut of your income.
5:03But I'm telling you in this country,
5:06at every single enterprise I deal with,
5:09they these people are livid.
5:10They're like, I am paying for tokens that create no value.
5:14These people are stealing the weights and alpha of my business
5:17and they're creating a wealth tax that does not help the poor.
5:20It just punishes starts with the billionaires.
5:22Every single person at this table is going to be paying A wealth tax
5:25only to punish us.
5:27If they were confident that this thing created this value,
5:30that would be the easiest sales pitch in history.
5:33Pay us nothing unless we make you money
5:36and unless we build you a billion dollar idea.
5:39But they can't offer that
5:41because these models do what's called hallucinate, right?
5:45This is where they confidently make things up and nobody,
5:48including the people who built them,
5:50could tell you when or really why it happens.
5:53But no one's been able to figure out how to fix it completely.
5:56You'll notice that both Anthropic CEO
5:59Darryl Amada and Sam Waterman have both said,
6:00we can't wait to see what you build with this.
6:02Well, that's because they don't know what you can build with this.
6:05They want everyone else to do their innovation for them,
6:07spend as much as they can on tokens and then take whatever's left.
6:10Except they lose too much money for that strategy to actually work.
6:14And that puts every corporation in America in a very awkward situation
6:20because let's say you're the CEO of a corporation, right?
6:21You just spent $50 million on AI this year.
6:25So your board of directors asks you a question.
6:28They're like, what did we get for this $50 million we just spent?
6:32What's the ROI? You're like,
6:35I don't know, right?
6:36We don't have a number. Nobody has a number.
6:39Corporate America's paying subscription fees on a technology
6:42whose outcome we cannot measure
6:45and it gets Worse though, because not only can we not measure it,
6:50we are also risking our company's secrets
6:53and potentially creating a competitor.
6:56Here's what Alex has to say about that.
6:57But something is gone completely wrong
7:00and the basic view among enterprises in this country is,
7:05I'm gonna chillax and waste my time with tokens.
7:08I'm gonna get no value and they're gonna get my IP.
7:11The fear for all these CEOs is that
7:14when your company uses these models,
7:17your data flows through them, right?
7:19Your process, your trade secrets,
7:21the special sauce that makes you profitable,
7:23which Alex Carp calls the alpha.
7:26So what happens when the a
7:29I company that you use learns from your business?
7:32It just becomes your competitor.
7:34And this is not a hypothetical thing,
7:35by the way. Anthropic launched a design product called Claud Design
7:40while having a relationship with a company called Figma,
7:44which is a design company.
7:46Figma CEO publicly said he was shocked.
7:49So picture being a business and then watching that
7:54you're paying your vendor millions of dollars a year to use their AI,
7:58but what you're actually doing is paying them and training
8:03your own replacement.

Viral Breakdown

So the whole US stock market including your 401k your index funds and the value of your retirement is based on a story that might be coming to an end."

Emotional Rhythm (الإيقاع العاطفي)

Alex Karp)
Figma"

Keyword Density (كثافة الكلمات المفتاحية)

Why It Spreads (لماذا ينتشر)

What You Can Steal
