0:00I didn't expect to love it this much.
0:02Baseball is long, the sun is hot,
0:05the pants are filled with grass stains.
0:07Seriously though, why are those pants white?
0:09But then I watched him. The way he lights up when he's with his team.
0:13The way he walks a little taller in that uniform.
0:16The way the field feels like home to him.
0:18And somehow now to me too.
0:21I became a baseball mom slowly.
0:24Game by game, weekend by weekend.
0:26And somewhere between the early morning drives and those late nights,
0:30I realised I wasn't just showing up,
0:33I was falling in love.
0:35Not just with the sport, but what it's given him.
0:38The confidence, the joy,
0:39the friendships. The way he's learning to win with humility and lose with Grace.
0:46Baseball is not just something he plays,
0:48it's part of who he is now.
0:49And because I love him, I've grown to love that part of him too.
0:54So I'm gonna keep on showing up
0:56with folding chairs and sunscreen
0:59and plenty of water because it's really hot out there.
1:02I'll keep watching him grow inning by inning.
1:05And I will keep falling in love with this season of life.
1:09Because this isn't just his game anymore.
1:12It's a piece of our story now, too.
1:15And I wouldn't trade it for anything.
