0:00This is a true story. In 1957,
0:02a boy named Jason Voorhees drowned at Camp Crystal Lake.
0:05He was 11th, deformed,
0:06bullied, and couldn't swim.
0:08The counselors were distracted.
0:09His body was never recovered.
0:10A year later, two staff members were found murdered,
0:13throat slit, bodies dumped near the lake.
0:15No suspects, no arrests.
0:17The camp shut down. Locals blamed the mother,
0:19Pamela Vorhees. They said she snapped,
0:21that she blamed the camp for Jason's death.
0:23But the real fear began years later.
0:25In 1980, Crystal Lake reopened.
0:28And within 48 hours, everyone was dead.
0:31Nine victims stabbed,
0:32mutilated, beheaded.
0:33The last survivor swore she killed a woman,
0:36Jason's mother. But before blacking out,
0:38she saw someone else. A man. Tall,
0:40silent, wearing a hockey mask.
0:42Police covered it up as an accident,
0:44but locals knew better. Jason didn't drown.
0:46Or maybe he did. But something came back.
0:48He was massive, rotting,
0:49and completely silent. Every attempt to reopen the camp ends in blood.
0:53Reports of tents slashed open from the outside,
0:55cabins burned, bodies never recovered.
0:58The state sealed the area,
0:59change the name. But hikers still go missing.
1:01And every year, someone hears breathing by the lake. Heavy,
1:04close and getting closer.
