0:00I just got back from the spirit Follow Halloween store.
0:02I'm a little annoyed because maybe I'm overreacting.

0:07I was actually on their website before I left
0:09and I saw the costume that I wanted for my son.
0:12So I decided to just go in person.
0:14I was literally about to purchase it online and just pick it up later,
0:16but I just. Since I live really close,
0:18I just decided to drive over there and pick it up. Um,
0:21and so I found the costume,
0:22everything's good, I checked out.
0:24And then I realized after they ring me up,
0:26after I paid for it, that they actually charged me for the, um,
0:30like the original price,
0:31not the discounted price they're advertising on their website.
0:34So I went back, um,
0:36and I was carrying the costume with the receipt.
0:38And one of the girls I was working there,
0:39she saw me when I was about to go in the line.
0:42She goes, are you returning that, ma'am?
0:43And I said, no,
0:44I'm not returning it. I just wanna ask a question about the price,
0:47cause you guys ring me up for the original.
0:49And then I showed her the website
0:50with the price they were advertising for,
0:52which is a ten dollar difference.
0:54It's not a big deal,
0:55but I feel like it's wrong if they're advertising for something online,
0:58um, and they're ringing you up for the original.
1:00I feel like that's kind Of messed up.
1:02So I asked her and she said,
1:03oh, yeah,
1:04we can't. We can't price match.
1:05I'm sorry. And I said, why?
1:07It's. This is your website.
1:08That doesn't make any sense.
1:09Yeah, I'm so sorry.
1:10Yeah, we can't do that.
1:12And now I feel like I should have said I need to speak to a manager
1:15because, I don't know,
1:16I feel like it's wrong. Even though it's only ten dollar difference,
1:19I still feel like that's not right
1:21that they're advertising something on their website
1:23and then ringing you up for the original. Um.
1:26And I feel like they should be able to refund me for that.
1:29I don't know. Am I overreacting?
1:31Is that normal or is she totally wrong?
1:33I don't know. I'm a little annoyed by that.
1:35And I honestly don't want to shop there anymore if they're not there.
1:38I feel like that's kind of scammy,
1:40to be honest with you. I don't know.
